I wanted to backed this up yesterday but I couldn't find the screenshots until this morning. You can see my battery is at 18% and the ride (which is normally $25-$30) is hiked up to $81. I saw it change instantly. The price dipped once I charged my phone to 25%. twitter.com/NerdyAndNatural/st

I hate listening to people argue about the vaccine - nobody is well-informed about vaccines in general or this one in particular, so it's just a bunch of people saying wrong things at each other.

Alt-right: The vaccine is actively harmful and designed to make people reliant on the government.

Centrists: There isn't enough evidence yet to show that the vaccine doesn't have any long-term negative side-effects.

Liberals / some leftists: The vaccine is a magic elixir that makes me invincible.

A couple years ago, I worked for a start-up. Well a "start-up" - they were fairly well established by the time I joined.

I expected, like, creative and collaborative chaos (the good kind). Instead it was everything I hate about large companies, but way more visceral.

Leadership was in it to keep things up in the air long enough to get rich and everyone else were replaceable cogs to grind to the bone, throw away, and pay someone else less equity to do the same job. Rinse, repeat.

Breakfast sourced entirely from our garden, a farm elsewhere in town, or a farm in a neighboring town.

Brought in some garlics and purple jalapenos today. So now the whole house smells like lovely garlic.
